    mm, you would have to do some hacking inside the php files of the plugin itself, i guess.

    I made a little “hack” in the plugin to use DreamHost DreamObjects

    After the line 231 of the file: plugins/access.s3/aS3StreamWrapper/lib/wrapper/aS3StreamWrapper.class.php

    add this:

    self :: $ services [$ id] -> set_hostname (‘objects.dreamhost.com’);
    self :: $ services [$ id] -> allow_hostname_override (false);

    It creates a repository with your key, you SecretKey gives DreamHost control panel and connects to DreamObjects ready.

    charles notes so that you can add in some next release. DreamObjects is configured like Amazon S3

    that’s great! Do you know exactly what is dreamhost underlying Object Storage engine? Is it open-stack based?

    Está basado en Ceph.

    Ceph is a storage engine that’s designed to be fault-tolerant and
    ultra-scalable. Ceph can be used as a part of OpenStack to provide block
    level storage OR as object storage with OpenStack’s Swift API

    Unfortunatelly i could connect using this hack. I receive an information about xml and i can chnage back again. I have to delete the installation and re-install all the pydio again.
    Does we have any future for this soon?

    See the very last version of the access.s3 plugin (in the git develop branch) : we’ve reworked to use that latest version of SDK (v2) and set a host via a plugin parameter. Successfullly tested a Ceph connection.

    Hellow everyone! help needed. trying to attach radosgw ceph storage to pydio. Can’t understand what fields are necessary, besides key&secret.

    Tried to add “Storage URL” with rados host ip, no luck.

    Using access.s3 plugin w/ amazon sdk v.3

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    yes, the Storage URL should be the host IP indeed. What info do you have exactly? host, container?
