    Hello,

    automatic software upgrade brakes somewhere in the middle were the 7 version is placed over 6, tried manually to copy 7 and 8 version but it gets blank. I understand that there is a major upgrade and many things have changed, but how to upgrade to 8? ANY HELP!

    hi janis,
    it’s pretty hard to help with so few info. If you have a blank, you must see a php error somewhere in the apache error log, can you check that?

    Janis, please stick to the public forum, I cannot handle discussing by email with everyone in the community…
    Did you check https://github.com/pydio/pydio-core/issues/1324 ? Do you have similar issues?

    Hi,
    Make sure your system satisfy the requirements of v8: http://pydio.com/en/why-pydio/enterprise-distribution-requirements

    (Note: php version >= 5.6 )

    During the upgrade (from pydio web). If you get error (php), please try to update manually following files in “/home/pydio/public_html/conf” folder:

    – bootstrap_context.php
    – bootstrap_repositories.php

    These files could be generated inside this folder (with surfix is the current date) or get from : https://github.com/pydio/pydio-core/tree/develop/core/src

    Then continue to upgrade to later version.

    I did that, when it hangs somewhere at ver 7. manually uploaded. I start to think maybe I can export user personal data and users somehow. install fresh 8 version and then import users with data?
